Monday:
Good Morning Everyone! Today we are going to start implementing the design process. We will take a site inventory of the space outside the west end of the 300 Bldg. In pairs you will gather information, individually you will create a Site Inventory Drawing and then Conduct a Site Analysis and create a list of options in your groups.
Plans got changed from the above. You will be responsible for the first ten plant uses in your keynote. Each slide needs to have a shortened description of the plant use, a picture or pictures highlighting the plant use, and the title/use clearly visible in each slide. I will check to see you have the first ten done Wednesday.
Wednesday: Muhlenbergia rigens
Good Morning Everyone! Today we are going to start implementing the design process. We will take a site inventory of the space outside the west end of the 300 Bldg. In pairs you will gather information, individually you will create a Site Inventory Drawing and then Conduct a Site Analysis and create a SA drawing in your groups.
Friday: Carex tumulicola (Berkeley Sedge)
Today you will need to continue working on your Plant Uses Keynotes. By the end of the period you should be through the first 27 uses. Everyone needs to go one step further with each slide. Under the picture(s) you choose write a caption showing examples of specific plant materials or descriptions. For instance, with Freeway Planting your examples could be California Pepper and Blue Gum.
If you are already done with the first 27 uses, continue and complete all 36. This project will be due Thursday of next week and we will be testing on this information.
You may also work any work that is missing from my class. Many of you are behind at least one project. Save your Site Inventory and Analysis Drawings until we meet back on Tuesday.
